On Friday, the Railway Ministry rolled back its in-advance plan to update Garib Rath’s services in the Kathgodam-Jammu and Kathgodam-Kanpur routes using mail or explicit trains.
Though Garib Rath educates services on those routes have stopped, they’d resume from August four, stated the officials here.
Earlier, there was speculation that the railways planned to stop the offerings of Garib Rath, and these trains might be converted earlier, mail or express.

“Services of Train no. 12207/08 Garibrath Express among Kathgodam and Jammu Tawi and Train no. 12209/10 Garibrath Express among Kanpur and Kathgodam restored with impact from August 4, 2019,” the rail ministry tweeted following protests over the discontinuation of the two trains lately.
