Singer Madonna has opened up about her combat in opposition to ageism within the music industry, saying she is being punished for turning 60. She spoke candidly about her relationships and her children — Lourdes, 22; Rocco, 18; David and Mercy, 13; and Esther and Stella, six.
Madonna stated that she regrets giving her kids telephones.”I will stick that one out for as long as possible because I made a mistake when I gave phones to my older kids once they were 13.”
“It ended my dating with them. Not absolutely; however, it became a huge part of their lives. They have become too inundated with imagery and started to compare themselves with different human beings, and that’s awful for self-growth,” she said.
